The Jamestown Dollars for Scholars formed with the goal of preserving and enhancing the quality of education in our school district. Our mission is to secure funding that will be used to provide educational opportunities to students from the Jamestown Public School System that would otherwise not be possible.

 

The Jamestown Dollars for Scholars chapter is a part of the Jamestown Public School Foundation which was formed in 1981 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As part of Scholarship America's^® national network of locally based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars chapters, we strive to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary education success for our students.  The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors which is separate in membership and decision-making from the school district.
